Medellin boasts two and half million people and is Colombia’s second largest city. We had the please of staying with a new friend we met via our airbnb booking. We scored on this place as Alejandro was an awesome host and tour guide.

He gave us bus cards to use around town, which allowed us to explore the town economically. The city boasts gondola’s at part of their metro system so we explored what seemed like the whole city. It was a typical big city, and it was nice to have a little different options in cultural food.

Sculptures are byFernando Botero that decorate downtown’s Botero Plaza. Another exploratory score was the Parque Explora near downtown. It was a science museum of sorts with lots of fun things to play with and learn about, including an aquarium. And somehow Trevor got his head caught in a dinosaur.
